Christmas countdown, day 1

Compliments of Jason's mom and dad, the kids' Christmas countdown of gifts galore is making a repeat performance. For those not in the know, the countdown means a package(sometimes small and simple, sometimes large and not-so-simple) each day of December until we reach the big 2-5 and Santa's arrival.

We've got two large stacks of advent gifts in the basement just waiting for their appropriate day, so let's get started.

Kicking off the present parade was a lighted reindeer welcome sign. Lights, a reindeer, a Christmas decoration ... it was just delightful to them all (especially Alivia who is still hoarding the empty box that has a picture of the sign on its front).

They oversaw its installation, making sure it was placed in the perfect spot.
